Program Director, Acting & Voice Instructor
International summer musical theatre intensive with Broadway professionals in Italy. Five annual scholarships available including the Chita Rivera Scholarship, the Norm Lewis Scholarship, the Baayork Lee Scholarship, the Christopher Wheeldon Scholarship, and two Company Liaison Scholarships for company members age 18-26.



Musical Theatre Professor

Teri served as Assistant Professor and Head of Musical Theatre at Fort Lewis College, Oakland University, Central Michigan University, and the University of Houston. During these appointments, Teri has received grants for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work, Professional Development Grants, and been nominated for Excellence in Teaching. Teri holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Vocal Performance (Theatre Minor) from Central Michigan University (CMU) and a Master of Music in Opera from Florida State University. Teri is also an Alumni of the Houston Opera Studio and was conferred with an honorary Doctorate of Fine Arts from CMU in 2014. Teri is a proud member of both Delta Omicron (International Music Fraternity) and Alpha Psi Omega (National Theatre Honor Society).

Collaboratively conceived with Bird Clarkson
This program features songs, dance, and spoken words focusing on race, religion, gender, and sexual orientation. The intent is to engage through art and inspire courage and community to face and overcome any perceived limiting factors. Participants represent all races, genders, religions, and sexual orientations, and their beautiful diversity is celebrated with works focused on diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice. These include selections from THE WIZ, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, THE PROM, and HARRIET. The program also features interactive and improvisational aspects to engage further and inspire those in attendance.
